Règles d'AdSense 2021

January 28, 2021 0 Comments

All you need to know about the ketogenic diet

 All you need to know about the ketogenic diet

What is the ketogenic diet?

The ketogenic (or keto) diet is a diet that advocates a very low intake of carbohydrates in favor of a higher intake of fat.

The person who follows a keto diet will have to exclude almost completely from his or her diet foods rich in carbohydrates (less than 50g per day) such as cereal products (bread, pasta, cereals, etc.), starchy foods, legumes, products that contain added sugar (cookies, pastries) as well as fruits and many vegetables that are too "sweet".

The menu will include meat, fish, seafood, eggs, nuts, high-fat plain yogurt, dairy products, vegetable oils, and leafy green vegetables.

The principle of the ketogenic diet is simple: by reducing carbohydrate intake, our body will draw from our fats to find energy.

Our liver will then produce acetone and acetylacetonate which will be transformed into ketone bodies. The fat thus metabolized creates what is called a state of "nutritional ketosis". Fat thus becomes our main source of energy.

All you need to know about the ketogenic diet
The foods to eat in a ketogenic diet are

The origin of the ketogenic diet

The ketogenic diet was originally used in children with epilepsy. It was developed in the 1920s and was used to reduce seizures. It has gained popularity in recent years, not only for weight loss but also for improving the symptoms of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Cautionary note

The ketogenic diet does indeed lead to rapid weight loss. However, this must be put into perspective. According to Laval University, weight loss can be explained by calorie restriction as well as water loss. "Severe carbohydrate restriction causes the body to draw on its reserves and their degradation is responsible for a large elimination of water, which explains the rapid weight change". Also, "people who adopt this diet tend to regain their initial weight or sometimes even more in the long term. It is therefore not a sustainable solution".

A bit of reading before you start

Losing weight by eating fat, here is a book that explains the main principles of a low carbohydrate diet high in good natural fats and also gives sample recipes and guidelines for following such a diet correctly.

The consultation reflex

Beware, whatever it is, a diet is never done lightly. We advise you to consult a doctor or a nutritionist before starting it.

Why do we cry when we cut onions?

January 27, 2021 0 Comments

Why do we cry when we cut onions?

When the onions grow, they have the particularity of keeping the sulfur present in the soil under their many layers. If it sounds scary when you say it like that, the sulfur is what gives them the strong taste in the mouth for which they are so loved. It would also have, through this type of food, beneficial properties on the body and health in general. However, when you peel and cut an onion or a plant of the same family (shallot or garlic), the sulfur concentration in the heart of the plant is released into the air. It then mixes with alliinase, an enzyme also contained in the onion. The meeting of the two generates allyl sulfate, a gas that has similar effects to tear gas and spreads rapidly in the air. On contact with the protective film of the eyes, the gas is transformed into sulphuric acid. To protect our fragile eye sockets from irritation, the brain sends a message to the tear glands to order the production of reflex tears. It is at this point that we begin to cry uncontrollably. Problem: Sulphuric acid is formed in contact with liquids. So the more you cry, the more production increases. A vicious circle, in short, that only ends when you move away from the source of the problem.

Why do we cry when we cut onions?
How to stop crying when cutting onions?

There is a multitude of more or less effective solutions to stop crying when cutting onions. The best-known consist in passing the food underwater during cutting, or putting it in a cool place before plunging the blade into it. Other more funny ones recommend wearing ski goggles or diving goggles, or even a protective mask over the eyes. It also says that chewing gum, parsley, or holding a freshly extinguished match between your teeth will prevent gas from reaching your eyes. The most important thing is not to be afraid of ridicule to get the perfect onion slices or cubes to flavor your dish of the day. And if the exercise seems really insurmountable, you can always invest in a chopper (manual or electric) or throw everything into a blender to make your task easier.

Comment savoir si votre chat vous aime ?

January 26, 2021 0 Comments

Five animals for breeding

January 26, 2021 0 Comments

 Thinking of adopting a four-legged friend?

Be aware that the choices go beyond dogs, cats, fish, or birds. In fact, there are many more "original" pets that you might not have thought of. Studies have shown that pets provide affection to children and are often able to soothe and secure children.

Here are 5 pets to discover and welcome (maybe) in your home!

Factors to consider in finding the right pet
Your space: Where will your pet live? Do you need to buy a cage? What size?
Its characteristics: What size is it? Does it grow quickly? What care does it require? Does it need to be taken out every day? When and how should it be fed?
Your time: How much time can you give your pet each day?
Your habits: How often do you go away from home (cottage, vacation, etc.)? Do you have neighbors who could take care of your pet or will you have to board your pet?
Your budget: Each pet comes with different needs, so you need to evaluate the cost of the animal before you buy it.

1. Hedgehog

Five animals for breeding

He's rather solitary, but so cute when he trots around a bit clumsily. For him, we opt for a cage resembling an aquarium so that he does not get his legs or head stuck in the fences. Like a hamster, he can have a small wheel for fun.

2. Chinchilla
Five animals for breeding

This friendly little rodent looks like a big squirrel. However, it is much more sociable than the squirrel, and even more sociable than its peers, such as the hamster or the rat. It needs a large cage because it likes to jump and move around. Preferably, his cage should have several different levels so that he can jump in it. However, chinchillas are nocturnal, which is good to know!

3. Guinea Pig

Five animals for breeding

The guinea pig is calmer than the chinchilla because it does not jump or climb. You can therefore let him stretch his legs out of his cage without any problem. Guinea pigs are gentle pets; they are easy to tame and are not naturally nervous. This is one of the reasons why this small rodent is sometimes found in school classrooms. Because they require little care in feeding, guinea pigs are inexpensive pets.

4. Turtle
Five animals for breeding

Silent (it is sometimes a positive side to consider when buying a pet!), the turtle is above all a calm animal. It needs a cage that must be washed regularly to avoid the spread of unpleasant odors. The turtle needs water and dry surfaces. It is an easy-going reptile that usually requires little attention and time. However, for interactions, we'll be back!

5. Lizard and other reptiles
Five animals for breeding

Reptiles are often chosen because they require very little care and because they are very attractive to small ones, without being scary to large ones. However, special attention must be paid to different aspects of this animal, such as heating its vivarium and its diet, often based on insects.
Do you have a pet at home? If so, is it one of the animals listed above?

10 tips to avoid putting on weight this winter

10 tips to avoid putting on weight this winter

As soon as the temperatures drop, we tend to throw ourselves on the good traditional dishes of our ancestors. Tartiflette, gratin dauphinoise, boeuf bourguignon, fondue savoyarde, and so on! Except that, if once our ancestors had imagined these dishes in sauces, richer and fatter, it was to help them fight the cold and gain energy. Today, let's face reality: radiators, escalators, elevators... let's continue? We no longer need to fight the cold as we used to. As a result, we gain weight. Discover all our advice to say bye-bye to winter kilos.

10 tips to avoid putting on weight this winter

1- BEWARE OF DAIRY AND MEAT PRODUCTS

Yes, that means fewer tartiflette, raclettes, and Savoyard fondues. If you really can't do without them, try not to exceed one traditional dish per week. The same goes for meat, beef bourguignon once in a while. And avoid charcuterie at all costs. Always favor vegetables as you do the rest of the year.

2 -OPT FOR LEGUMES

It's perfect if you need consistency. Same with starchy foods (wholemeal pasta please!). These families of foods fill the stomach and provide a lot of energy thanks to their high nutritional value.

3 LIGHT DINNER

It's great for evenings with friends but tries as much as possible to make a raclette brunch or tartiflette lunch. In the evening, we eat light. It's better for your figure but also for your sleep.

4 -EAT SOUP AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE
This is THE winter dish that you should put in the spotlight. There are so many possibilities that you can vary the soups every day. In the evening or as a starter (during a more formal meal), soup is your best ally. If you buy it ready-made, pay attention to the composition.

5 -DRINK HERBAL TEAS AND INFUSIONS

Do you find it difficult to drink freshwater with the drop in temperature? Then prefer herbal teas and infusions. Warm, they comfort and warm while being tasty. Remember that just because it's cold outside doesn't mean your body needs less hydration.

6 -DO NOT REFILL
Be careful with quantities. If you still feel hungry, it is not because of the cold, you are in a heated room. First, identify where this hunger comes from. What is on your plate may not be nutritious enough. It is better to eat a little but well.

7- DON'T FORGET THE FRUIT
Goodbye to strawberries, raspberries, and other fruits. You are bound to find fruit to your taste during the cold season. Apple, pear, tangerine, clementine, orange, kiwi, banana, lychee, grapefruit... Fill up with fruit and therefore with vitamins. Do you know the saying? One apple a day keeps the doctor away.

8- GET OUT AND MOVE
It's tempting not to go outside when it's cold. You take the bus or the car rather than the bike to go to work, you spend your Sunday by the fire or with plaid on the sofa in front of your favourite series. Force yourself to keep your good habits: it's time to explore the forest, take the dogs out, enjoy the fresh, clean air. It's good for your complexion!

9 -THINK OF SUGAR DIFFERENTLY

Do you dream of eating something sweet? Opt for a fruit cake or pie instead of chocolate or ice cream.

10 Votre plus belle photo de votre chat

Limit your alcohol consumption to parties or evenings with friends. Alcohol is one of your worst enemies because it contains only empty calories. Basically, other than pounds (and a tough tomorrow), it doesn't do you much good. So drink in moderation!

How to choose a green coconut?

How to choose a green coconut?

Coconut rocks, coconut cocktail, coconut flan... This exotic fruit lends itself to all sweet, and even sweet-salty preparations. Are you one of the biggest fans of coconut? To save money and enjoy it fresh, you can also choose to buy it whole, and not just as grated coconut flesh or milk in a carton. However, not all coconuts are the same... Discover some tips to distinguish one coconut from another, at the top of its shape!

The general appearance of the coconut

What could be more similar than the fruits of the coconut tree, those brown and oval shells, dressed in thick fibres? At first glance, not much: coconuts all look the same! To choose your fruit without making a mistake, check it from every angle. No brownish spots on the horizon, no cracks? It's a good start: a priori, your fruit has not suffered any shock. Next, feel the nut: to the touch, no portion is soft? Perfect! Otherwise, unfortunately, some parts are rotten: try another fruit instead. Finally, take a look at your coconut... with your eyes in your eyes! More precisely; check that its eyes, those little dark spots at the base of the nut, are not invaded by mould. Does it look harmonious to you? The first test passed with flying colours! Now it's time to move on to the second stage of selection.

How to choose a green coconut?

The weight and noise of the coconut

To check the quality of your tropical fruit, weigh it. The heavier the nut, the more water it contains, a sign of freshness. Next, shake the coconut to hear its song, or more precisely the delicate lapping of the coconut water that bounces off the sides of the coconut inside. The fruit is so juicy that its rustle reminds you of the ebb and flow of the seaside? Then it has every chance of being firm and tasty when you taste it! General appearance without defects, absence of cracks and mould, substantial weight and promising rattle... If your coconut has all these characteristics, neither one nor two: it's the right one! More than one objective in sight: open it quickly and prepare a delicious exotic coconut cocktail, just to complete your dream of a paradise island!

6 practical tips to wash your cat properly

 6 practical tips to wash your cat properly

The cat is a feline who likes cleanliness. Usually, the grooms himself with his raspy tongue. However, in certain situations, a bath is necessary. On the other hand, this little ball of fur is not always easy to clean because it does not like water. Here are a few useful tips to make it easier for the owner.

Les différentes étapes de la toilette
Is it essential to wash my cat?
The cat is a feline with a clean nature. In general, it does not need a daily bath, as it cleans itself. This four-legged animal has a raspy tongue made up of fine, pointed papillae. This organ enables it to wash properly every day. If the cat lives in a healthy environment, bathing is not essential.

When to give your cat a bath?
However, there are situations in which bathing your cat is imperative, particularly when he smells bad or when his hair is dirty and his licks are no longer sufficient to make it disappear. Here are some other cases in which a cat must be washed:

After a walk outside, its hair is covered with dust or mud.
When the animal has received irritating or toxic substances on its hair. These products can be detergents, pesticides, or oils.
If the cat is ill, washing is essential, following diarrhea or vomiting for example.
If the cat participates in cat shows and competitions, it is strongly recommended to maintain its hair so that it is well presented.
When the cat is infested with fleas, lice, or ticks, an anti-parasite treatment prescribed by a veterinarian is recommended. Beforehand, a good bath is essential.
Apart from these particular situations, regular bathing is necessary for certain breeds of naked cats, notably the sphynx, or long-haired cats. Indeed, stool remains may become attached to their long coat, in which case they will have to be removed.

What product should I use to shampoo my cat?
There are a variety of cat shampoo choices on the market. If the animal is prone to allergies or dermatitis, its veterinarian can also prescribe a specific shampoo. In any case, it is strongly advised against sharing your shampoo or shower gel with your four-legged companion, as humans do not have the same pH level. A cat's skin will not tolerate the chemicals and perfumes that make up its owner's care products.

What if the cat doesn't like water?
Your cat doesn't like water? No wonder! The majority of these small felines are reticent to humidity, especially if they have not been used to it from an early age. If this is the case, dry shampoo is the first alternative. It is available in either foam or powder form. In both cases, it does not need to be rinsed out. The dry shampoo can also be applied during the winter, after an operation, or following a visit to the clinic.

In some situations, dry shampoo does not solve the problem, as rinsing with water is unavoidable. In this case, the necessary steps must be taken:

To avoid being scratched, it is recommended to wear thick, scratch-resistant clothing.
Legs and feet should be well covered.
Preferably cut the claws of your four-legged friend the day before the bathing day.
Brushing in advance is also necessary. This action allows getting rid of knots in advance.
In the worst case, another person can be asked for assistance. This person will hold the cat while you wash it to get rid of the knots more quickly.

The different stages of washing
Without a good washing technique, even the most docile cat can be difficult to wash. Therefore, preparation is essential to avoid stress and scratches.

Start by talking to the cat. The owner must be calm and attentive to reassure the animal.
Bathing can be done in a classic bathtub, at the bottom of a sink, or in a shower. It may be useful to install a non-slip mat before putting the cat in it.
The person will use a shower head to wet the cat. Alternatively, they can always use a bowl.
Then test the water temperature before applying it to the cat. It should be neither too hot nor too cold.
Pour the water delicately so as not to rush the animal and avoid putting water on its eyes, nose, and ears.
Apply the shampoo and massage gently, taking into account the application time. This time is indicated on the product leaflet or on the prescription prescribed by the veterinarian.
Make sure you don't forget the hard-to-reach parts such as the fingers. Never apply shampoo to the eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. To avoid fights with your little companion, the owner can also clean the head area with wipes.
Rinse each part of the animal's body thoroughly. Do not stop until all the moss disappears. Otherwise, the remains of these care products can cause skin irritations. They can also be licked by the cat when washing.
When the bath is finished, it is advisable to dry your little companion with a towel rather than a hairdryer, especially if it is his first bath. While waiting for it to dry, the ideal is to put the cat in a warm, draught-free room.

Note that the sheathing and knots should be cut before washing.

At what age can a cat be washed?
To avoid any complications, cats should be accustomed to bathing from a very young age. However, his first bath should be done after having lost his kitten's hair. The owner can start by cleaning him or her with a washcloth. Once the animal is no longer afraid of water, a complete bath can be given.

how to start a business

Tip number 1: I don't go it alone to get rich quickly.
A  majority of young entrepreneurs have still not stopped believing in fairy tales and the heroes of our childhood. In love with the beautiful sagas, they read and listen with a touch of devotion to the glowing portraits of mythical entrepreneurs painted by the media as part of the popularisation of the entrepreneurial spirit. Presented as modern-day knights who have swapped the quest for the Grail for the ultra-fast accumulation of millions of euros, these legendary entrepreneurs are thus magnified to show that fortune is accessible to those who want to take the trouble. Let's be reasonable. If there are a lot of conscripts, there are very few chosen ones. For a dozen or so rapid enrichments, there are countless bankruptcies of creators who have chosen the wrong path, fascinated by the lark mirrors placed along their path, and one can be perfectly happy without being preoccupied daily by the search for an even bigger chest to store one's ingots. Enrichment can be a consequence, it is never a goal, but it does not mean that you have to prepare yourself for long-lasting life in lean times. Even if the pursuit of wealth is not the main objective, it is quite comfortable to have a regular and sufficient income to meet one's needs and build up some reserves. With a good business model that is properly built, you can make a significant improvement in your daily life.

Tip number 2: I no longer hesitate to express my talents and develop my own qualities
The multiplication of procedures is quite revealing of the chronic lack of trust of the management layers towards the company's executives. For several decades now, management gurus have been rightly recommending the development of "empowerment". This rather expressive Anglicism refers to an effective transfer of power of action and decision making, a form of a delegation that is already being implemented and which frightens many managers. This is a form of a delegation that many leaders are afraid of, and they are trying to frame it with ever more restrictive procedures. The multiplication of procedures in companies acts as a genuine "Denver hoof" placed on the driving wheels of innovation. Let us never lose sight of the fact that the verb "to innovate" cannot be conjugated without giving oneself the freedom to break the established rules. Once freed from most of these unfounded procedures, the independent entrepreneur will avoid referring to them by an acquired automatism, a conditioned reflex, to unleash his innovation capacities. Linus Torvalds, the initiator of the Linux system, the flagship of open source software, explained the success of a definitive formula: "No method!". Work organization specialists use the metaphor of the "bazaar" to refer to how the Linux system was developed, compared to the more classic "cathedrals" set up by commercial software engineering companies. It's up to everyone to judge...

Tip number 3: I will succeed because I have a persevering nature without being stubborn.
It's so easy to forget that a day is only twenty-four hours long that we sometimes let ourselves go and prepare work plans that are far too ambitious. This is also the way to get involved in the craziest projects. Once the contract has been signed, long working days await us. The basic premise is that any deadline that is announced lightly becomes a contractual objective, and the client or partners have confidence in your professionalism. The customer or partner trusts in your professionalism and takes the announced deadline as a given, which is a firm and reasonable commitment for them. Anyone who, swept away by the euphoria of the moment or overconfident in his or her abilities, has given free rein to his or her optimism in announcing deadlines that are impossible to meet, will have a hard time. Every time he takes a look at his schedule, he will experience a real moment of anguish, convinced of the impossibility of meeting his commitments, at the risk of disappointing his client and lastingly damaging his reputation. One might assume that these are only beginner's mistakes, and that experience teaches us wisdom. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. The desire to complete a project can be so strong on some occasions that the most basic rules of prudence are forgotten. The experience gained over the years is mysteriously put on hold to give way to seemingly unassailable optimism. A bit of hindsight, the time to regain one's capacity for reasonable and reasoned judgment, is necessary. Think before you commit yourself, this is a common-sense recommendation that can never be repeated enough. Note: In this short presentation, we only address the situation of the contractor who underestimates deadlines. Anyone who assumes his skills and commits himself to a project that is too difficult for him will experience the same disillusionment.

Tip number 4: Now that I am an independent entrepreneur, I bring "real value" to "real customers".The only viable business is one that brings real value to the target customer segment. The entrepreneur knows that he or she only lives from his or her customers. If they are to continue to buy the services or products provided, it is essential that they are interested in them. This statement, which may seem obvious, should be used as a reference to judge the validity of the actions undertaken in the service of the company. It is indeed the best way to avoid getting bogged down in work and expenses that ultimately prove to be counterproductive. For each development or improvement idea, it is wise to ask yourself the following three questions:
- Will it is useful to improve my rate of conversion of prospects into customers?
- Will it is useful to improve customer loyalty?
- Will it is useful to increase my customer base turnover?
A beginner might be tempted to add a pre-set question to this brief screen: will it be useful for attracting the interest of prospects? It would be a mistake to judge the feasibility of an idea based on this criterion alone. This is how you get into projects that, although seemingly catchy on the surface, prove to be lastingly sterile. Prospects seem to be interested in the process without making the decision to buy. One will never reap the fruits of the investments made. The purpose of the company is not to find interesting ideas, but to sell a product or service. Therefore, we will limit our screening to the first three questions asked.

Tip number 5: Now that I am an independent entrepreneur, I have realized that a business model should not turn into a never-ending quest for funds. The search for financing for a project can quickly become a battleground, as investors are so reluctant to invest. The entrepreneur is optimistic. There is no doubt in his mind that the project will be a success. The investor sees the proposed business from another angle. He seeks to make the best investment without being forced to take risks. He knows full well that many new businesses never get off the ground. When the term "profit and loss" is used, he eliminates the first term "loss" and only the second "profit". To make sure that he never makes a loss, he will not hesitate to take as many guarantees as possible on your own assets. In the event of bankruptcy in his search for an interested investor, it is prudent to remember that a business project is a personal project. It is preferable to avoid inciting those close to you to make a financial commitment or to act as guarantors, at the risk of jeopardizing family and friendship ties. So leave your grandmother alone, and don't put your friends at a disadvantage. A Spanish proverb sums up the situation from the solicited side: "If a friend asks you for a loan of money, think carefully about which of the two you intend to lose: your friend or your money". Don't hesitate to explore ways of self-financing by starting at low cost and limiting investments as much as possible. Once the cruising speed has been reached, it will be time to reinvest the first profits to ensure development in total freedom. It's good to be independent that one commits oneself to the adventure of creating a company on one's own.
- Testimony of Mélanie and Jérémie, co-managers of a branded product sales depot.
"Mélanie and Jérémie have been working in the same company for almost ten years. For the past few months, the management has been making drastic cuts in staff. Mélanie and Jérémie are aware that they have been given a special place in one of the next redundancy carts. Deciding to take the lead so as not to remain on the sidelines, they are preparing a project for an individual company. After many brainstorming sessions, they finally come up with the idea. It will be a sales depot specializing in branded products. Since the crisis, second-hand products have been given a new lease of life. The observation is correct, but the idea is not very original. They launch a market study which, according to their own interpretation of the results, reveals solid potential, provided they set up in a trading area free of direct competition. In the meantime, they set up the business plan, then solicited all the banks of their region, without much success. The banks are cautious at present. They are also clear-sighted and note at a glance that it is a difficult project. After many peregrinations, they come back empty-handed and disappointed. Rather than reconsidering the feasibility of their project, they remain stuck on the question of funds. They decide to pool their personal savings and Jeremiah's mother agrees to give him part of the inheritance in advance. However, the sum collected does not allow them to buy the stock and to take out a lease in a shopping street. They forgot the recommendations of the market study and opted for premises located in a secondary street, completely out of the trading area. They set aside part of the budget for a few marketing operations, to initiate word-of-mouth, which is the only way to attract customers. But this is not enough. For potential customers to turn away from their usual places of purchase and make the effort to visit this shop, they still need to know how to find an original and interesting offer. Mélanie and Jérémiene still don't offer a clear competitive advantage. As it was foreseeable from the beginning, the deal does not last. They filed for bankruptcy a few months later.

Tip number 6: Now that I'm an independent entrepreneur, it's in my best interest not to be left alone.
 In a company, it is not difficult to find one's place within a formal relational network. As soon as you take up your post, you become part of a team and establish indispensable relationships with the other players in the company, if only for service obligations. Then, the chemistry makes the difference, and compatible personalities form more personal, intimate relationships. Once self-employed, it is up to each person to make the effort to launch the actions to build their professional network, at the risk of remaining totally isolated. Whatever the activity involved, it is hardly possible to carry out one's office properly without establishing close relationships with other professionals exercising a similar or related profession. This is the only way to stay in tune with one's profession and the expectations of clients. It is also an opportunity to compare impressions, compare knowledge and build partnerships to respond to more substantial offers. In short, participation in a professional relational network is imperative when it comes to self-employment.

Tip number 7: As I want to make a long-living from my new activity, I avoid the complicated and I look for simplicity.
 In a dynamic of professional improvement, the continuous search for simplicity is probably the best guide to approach a certain idea of perfection. Simplicity is not synonymous with ease, far from it. It is not easy to make things simple. Simplicity is rather the antidote to the complicated. nor is seeking simplicity the same as reducing the complex by applying a simplistic scheme. on the contrary, it is eliminating the superfluous, which masks the relationships between the components, to identify and highlight the fundamentals, the primary structure of things. It is an effort of synthesis that requires the elimination of all noises that hinder understanding or impede realization. The search for simplicity is essential at all levels of professional action. Whether it is to introduce oneself, to integrate partner networks, to build one's business model, or to realize a product or service, one always chooses the path of simplicity. The documents are clear and the arguments are brief and precise. The interlocutor effortlessly understands the message communicated. Paradoxically, it sometimes happens that you are in business with clients or partners who are particularly inclined to favor solutions that are a little over-ornate. They likely think they are giving value to their problem, which can only be original and therefore difficult. Intuitively, they confuse simplicity with ease. It will then be difficult to propose a solution and justify its price without engaging in real educational work. In this case, "making it complicated" is much more selling...

 how to feed your cat

Cats are particularly difficult animals, especially when it comes to their diet. Their daily ration must contain all the essential elements to ensure their nutritional needs. However, the composition of the menu depends on their age, weight, lifestyle, and physiological condition. All you need to know about a cat's diet.

The cat's nutritional needs
The cat is a carnivore. Protein is one of the main components of its diet. To promote its growth, its diet must be complete and well-balanced. Also, a correct dietary diet helps to combat certain serious pathologies. For this, the proportions of nutrients must be adapted to the cat's metabolic requirements. Also, a balanced diet satisfies the cat's needs in terms of proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins, and trace elements. A cat's diet varies according to age and physical activity. A kitten in full growth has increased nutritional requirements, both in quantity and quality:
A high protein intake to promote the development of his body;
A sufficient quantity of fat to meet its energy needs;
An intake of mineral salts (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, sodium, chloride) essential for energy metabolism, bone formation, nerve transmission, and the balance of the body's fluids;
A sufficient quantity of vitamins A, B, D, E, K, and H useful for vital functions;
Raw fibers to facilitate intestinal transit.
When a cat reaches adulthood, it is advisable to reduce its ratio: less protein and mineral salts, more vitamins, and fiber. It is also recommended to adapt the amount of food according to the cat's weight. For every kilo, 40 to 50 grams of food should be provided per day.

Compose home-made dishes
Many people choose to prepare their cat's meals themselves. However, the nutritional intake of a household ration must scrupulously respect the animal's specific needs, both in terms of quantity and quality. A well-balanced meal must therefore be composed of :
50% lightly cooked animal meat (fish, beef, poultry, horse, offal, etc.);
20% bowls of cereal;
20% cooked green vegetables;
Vitamin and oil supplements.

Advice on how to feed your cat correctly
A cat's diet must respect certain rules. To feed it properly, it is advisable to :
Always leave fresh water at his disposal;
Serve food that is neither too cold nor too hot;
Pay attention to abrupt changes, it is ideal to accustom him little by little too new things;
Avoid fresh meat of poor quality, too rich in nerves and fat, as well as starchy and mealy foods that are difficult to digest;
Also avoid giving him table scraps, as they can cause obesity, digestive problems, kidney failure, liver dysfunction, and bone problems.
