Which Christmas menu for children?Small marbled chocolates

 A SPECIAL CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS MENU 100% MIAM

To distract envious glances from Christmas presents, we offer children something to feast on from the aperitif, with candy-shaped appetizers. Original and gourmet, they are there to whet the appetites of the little ones and make them wait for the sometimes late arrival of the main course. We continue with a new or revisited recipe, such as a turkey fillet breaded with hazelnuts, served with a gratin or mash. For dessert, which they are so impatiently waiting for, we go for decoration. Cookies with green and red icing, a gingerbread house, or a gold-coated muffin: the mere sight of them will delight them as much as their future gifts. Holiday recipes that will make children forget the long hours that still separate them from the passage of Santa Claus.

INGREDIENTS FOR 10 PEOPLE

. 250 g of white pastry, chocolate

. 100 g of dark pastry, chocolate

.Blue or red liquid food coloring

. silicone imprints for chocolates (silikomart and déco'relief)

 PREPARATION

1. Black and white marbled chocolates: prepare a simmering water bath but not boiling. In the inner saucepan, put 100g of white chocolate and let it melt without stirring. Smooth the chocolate when it is melted and remove it from the heat. Add the dark chocolate and let it melt. Using a small spoon, pour the mixture into the silicone molds, mixing partially, as for a marble cake. Leave to set in the fridge for at least 2 hours before unmolding.

2. White and blue (or white and red) marbled chocolates: prepare a simmering water bath but not boiling. In the inner saucepan, put 150g of white chocolate and let it melt without stirring. Smooth the chocolate when it is melted and remove it from the heat. Add a few drops of food coloring, and make blue or red streaks (depending on the color you choose) with a fork. Pour the mixture into the molds. Leave to set for at least 2 hours in the fridge before unmolding.

THE TIP

100% chocolate sweets, digestible and healthier than industrial sweets. To succeed, keep the chocolate at the right temperature, and melt it in small batches to prevent it from hardening before being poured into the molds. This chocolate can be kept for 15 days in an airtight box.
