You should not drink too much water. Here are the times when you should not drink water!
After a big meal
If you've just filled your belly and you're full, it's not wise to drink an entire glass of water. You're just adding extra stuff to a full stomach, which can make you feel bloated and tummy ache because the water doesn't get into your stomach properly.
Directly after exercising
Did you just work out and sweat in the gym or take a long jog? You are probably thirsty because you have lost a lot of water. But you can't replenish the important nutrients you "lost" during this exercise, like sodium and potassium, just by drinking water. You better drink something like coconut water.
When you have already drunk a lot of water
It rarely happens, but it is possible to drink too much water and this can put you in danger. You can upset your body's salt balance by drinking too much water, which can cause sodium deficiency. Marathon runners are a good example: when they keep drinking water for the whole race (or after), their cells swell, causing them to feel nauseous, causing vomiting, or even heart failure or death...
When your urine is transparent
You know exactly when you have drunk enough water by going to the bathroom. The color of your urine is a good indicator if you need to drink more or less. Is your urine pale yellow or lemonade-like? So you have drunk enough water. Is your urine clear? Then you should slow down your water consumption…
